This first issue hooks you to wanting to read the series. The pace of it is perfectly articulated. I love how it builds up and you start having that feeling you do when you are in a theater watching a great movie biting your nails waiting for the next scene and you’re nervous for what’s to come and suddenly you jump from those crazy unexpected jump scares. When a comic book gives you that great feeling that makes movies great you know you have a great read in your hands as well. That feeling right there is what makes comic books amazing and this comic book to me gives you that. The characters and plot well written, and the art is amazing. I definitely recommend this read. If you get this read you might as well get the rest of the issues that go with this volume because you won’t want to stop reading after the first one, I guarantee you that.
